Taught by:
Mike Rimoldi, MPA, CBO, CFM

Course Description:

This one-hour webinar is designed to guide individuals new to floodplain management into understanding what a Certified Floodplain Manger (CFM) does and what are the steps in becoming certified through The Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM).

It is intended as an introductory session for those new to floodplain management with an expected experience background from 1-3 years.

The format will introduce floodplain management, how a CFM is involved in floodplain management and the process whereby an individual can become a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM).

It is not intended as a direct study guide or test-taking course but more to the elements of where to find resources to help an individual prepare for the exam as well as introduce materials related to floodplain management that might not otherwise be known to persons relatively new to the field.

It is not intended for anyone who has already achieved the CFM certification.

Bonus: After successfully attending the live webinar class, you will receive either the Power Point Presentation and/or the Live Video of the class to review for 6 months. This is only for you and not to share with others.
