Course Description: 12 CFM credits

This 4-day course is designed to provide an organized training opportunity for local officials responsible for administering their local floodplain management ordinances.  The course will focus on the National Flood Insurance Program, the concepts of sound floodplain management, Flood Insurance Rate Maps and Flood Insurance Studies, ordinance administration, and the relationship between floodplain management and flood insurance.

This Class is NOT in any way a preparation class for the CFM Exam.
